Three years practising as a general dentist gave Dr. Lopez a whole-mouth understanding of dental health, a foundation she relies on to plan and treat even complex cases with precision, paired with an eye for aesthetic detail that makes every result look as natural as it is functional.
A handheld digital scanner captures your teeth in a few minutes with no trays, no putty and no gagging. The scan becomes a three-dimensional plan Dr. Lopez maps herself and walks through with you on screen, including a simulation of the finished smile. Each visit is measured against that plan, so you always know where you are.
Residency and fellowship training in orthodontics and facial orthopedics means we can guide the growth and relationship of the jaws themselves, not only the teeth. That is the specialist training that lets us take on complex cases in-house.
Meet Dr. Ana Lilian Lopez
A smile does more than straighten teeth. It changes how you walk into a room. That belief is what pulled Dr. Lopez into orthodontics, and it is what drives her every day: giving you a healthy, beautiful smile that carries you with confidence and full function for years to come.
Her path here was built one deliberate step at a time: a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida, three years in general practice, then a Master of Science, residency as Chief Resident and a fellowship in orthodontics and facial orthopedics at Jacksonville University.
Outside of Dayspring, you will usually find her competing at a local race or chasing after her toddler. Family is a big part of why she understands the trust patients place in her, whether she is caring for a child's very first smile or an adult finally investing in their own.
